PLA Starter Filament is the perfect choice for everyone, whether you are a beginner in 3D printing or an experienced 3D printing professional. For 3D light-image enthusiasts who don’t want to be limited to only the white colour, we have created the PLA Starter Lithophane CMYK Set. The set includes 4 spools with a 1kg weight. Each one is constructed with a cardboard core and two reusable discs. Thanks to their unique construction, you have the possibility to reuse them for ReFill’s from our range.
The set includes the following colours: Lithophane White, Lithophane Yellow, Lithophane Cyan and Lithophane Magenta. You will be able to experiment with coloured lithophane prints.
In addition, the PLA Starter Lithophane CMYK Set is an ideal choice for those who are just getting started with 3D printing. The PLA Starter Filament does not require an enclosed chamber, heated table or high printing temperatures, so you can easily achieve aesthetically pleasing and eye-catching lithophane prints. Such three-dimensional light images can be used as lampshades for nightlights or illuminated photographs.
Recommended printing parameters:
- extrusion temperature 190-225°C
- bed temperature: 40-60°C
- fan: 70-100%
The filament can be printed on unheated tables. In case of problems with adhesion, we recommend the use of an adhesive.

We use natural, non-foiled recycled cardboard, we chose a material with a very low carbon footprint for the spools, we introduced the ReFill version of the filament and now we are introducing a new spool made of a cardboard core and reusable discs.
You have a choice! Buy filament on our eco-friendly spool or without a spool. Taking care of the comfort and the highest standard of our products, we have decided to place the filament on a cardboard core made with only certified eco-friendly adhesives. Placing the filament on the coil makes it easy to use. The coil shape is stable and guarantees satisfaction.
Masterspool ROSA3D reusable discs can be found in our shop or you can print them yourself (download file). Press the discs into the ReFill coil, remove the bands (don’t forget to secure the end of the filament) and you can enjoy the ease of printing in the spirit of ecology and care for the planet.
